General Lending Requirements for BCDC Loans

We try to make our loan process as simple as possible. Here are some of the basic requirements for obtaining BCDC financing:

• Good credit history

• One full-time job created for each $15,000 in loan amount

• Assuming bank participation, BCDC funds must be necessary for project to proceed

• Two-year profitable operating history and/or a complete business plan may be required

• Project must meet BCDC credit analysis requirements

• All lending amounts are subject to current availability of funds*

* If approved, funds are drawn down and documents executed - normally within a 30-60 day period.
